Manhattan’s whip-smart public, daytime kink-fest kicks up a good time

MANHATTAN — Yesterday, I strolled through the annual Folsom Street East: an S/M block party on 28th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

Tiny rainstorms sometimes put a damper on things — like the public floggings and the kinky daytime demonstrations.

Erotic-director and drag impresario Chi Chi LaRue, pictured, hosted the fetish fest.

LaRue says she lost an impressive 120 pounds. 

When that dramatically happens, everyone — like Carnie Wilson and Star Jones — looks a little saggy-headed and horsy-teethed. LaRue had fun being the butt of her own jokes with her filthy, insult-flavored one-liners.

LaRue wasn’t the only porn legend at Folsom East: Bi-stud Ricky Sinz, pictured, — a hot-mess of steroids and tattoos — strolled through the crowd.

The public floggings were great fun — like this little vixen, below, cracking the whip.

By far, the best entertainer was drag-tastic Peppermint, below, who hopped off the stage and parted the crowd like the Red Sea to perform her high-kicking runway strut.

Toilet Boy’s front-lady Miss Guy, below, performed a cover of Ace Frehley’s “Back in the New York Groove.”

NY GROOVE: Miss Guy kissed Folsom East with a vintage disco cover.

But the public floggings were jaw-droppingly awesome.
