One of the last times we hung out, Quentin Crisp told me about “the fiend” who tried to admit him to the hospital for his busted hand.

He fled the antiseptic torture chamber while filming a piece that aired on the Australian version of “60 Minutes.” 

Quentin didn’t stretch the truth one bit.
